Keville Enterprises, Inc., a growing Construction Management and Inspection firm, is seeking qualified candidates to serve as a full-time, Construction Manager/Resident Engineer (CM) on public agency projects in Boston and other locations in Massachusetts. A conscientious individual with a positive attitude is a must!

RESPONSIBILITIES: The Construction Manager will be serving as an Agency CM / Owner's Representative, representing public agencies on their capital construction projects. The CM will be responsible for: overseeing the construction contractor, ensuring that all work is performed in accordance with construction contract plans and specifications; inspecting the work; ensuring that the contractor is in compliance with its own Quality Control Plan and Safety Plan; coordinating the needs and requirements of the owner, owner tenants, and abutters with the work of the contractor; reviewing the contractor's baseline schedule and schedule updates; reviewing contractor requests for payment and making payment recommendations to the owner; reviewing and processing contractor submittals; attending and chairing weekly status meetings and other meetings as required; developing cost, schedule, budget, inspection, submittal status, change order status, and other reports; analyzing, estimating, and negotiating change orders; resolving construction problems encountered; managing and leading field office staff; and other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS: Candidates must have a Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or Architecture A minimum of 5 years of experience managing and overseeing construction projects is required.

* Experience on Airport, Railroad and Facilities projects is strongly preferred. Candidates must have excellent communication skills, excellent writing ability, demonstrated ability to get along with all personality types, demonstrated ability to remain calm and professional at all times, and very strong computer skills. PE License and/or CCM Certification are strongly preferred. Experience using BIM models, computerized tablets, and paperless office systems are strongly preferred.
